A Lowcountry screen shop, not a call center
Charleston Screen & Door is a local, hands-on screen company serving Charleston and the surrounding Lowcountry. From a single torn window screen to a full pool enclosure rebuild, we show up when we say we will, quote a flat price, and leave the porch cleaner than we found it.
Screens on the coast take a beating — salt air, summer storms, pollen, pets and no-see-ums that find every gap. We build with marine-grade hardware, stock multiple mesh types on the truck, and cut frames to fit your opening instead of forcing a stock size into it.
You get a free on-site measure, a flat written price before we start, and a one-year workmanship warranty on everything we install. Licensed and insured in South Carolina.

Not sure if your door can be fixed?
We carry common rollers, handles, locks and weatherstrip on the truck. If the frame is sound, most patio and storm doors can be repaired same-day. If it's time for a replacement, we measure on site and quote a flat price before any work starts.

- Do you charge for estimates?
- No. Measure visits and written estimates are free anywhere in our service area, and the price we quote is the price you pay.
- How fast can you get out here?
- Most jobs are scheduled within 2–3 business days. Storm damage and doors that won't close get bumped up when we can.
- What kind of screen should I use?
- Standard fiberglass for most windows, no-see-um mesh near the water, pet-grade on doors and lower panels, and solar screen on hot west-facing rooms. We'll walk you through it on site.
- Are you licensed and insured?
- Yes — licensed and fully insured in South Carolina, and every job is backed by a one-year workmanship warranty.
- Do you work on rentals and commercial buildings?
- We do. Property managers, short-term rentals, restaurants with screened patios and HOA common areas are all regular work for us.
